I’m gonna start the restoration. The first step is to remove all the parts from the gentleman.
R51/2 was produced in only 2 years of 1950 to 1951 which was the postwar period without much resources. It is the legacy of the postwar turmoil, it combines crankcase(twincam) in prewar and valve using modern valve-spring.
For the ignition coil,it has adopted the high voltage ignition system as same level as four-wheeled vehicles using a distributor.

The first theme is BMW R51/2.
It is one of the 5004 of total production volume produced in only 1950 to 1951.
The existing in Japan is said to be 3 to 4.

リアのプランジャーサスのシャフトがどうしても外れない!
バーナーであたためて外す手はあるのですが、フレームにダメージを生じるおそれがあり最後の手段として保留。
